Passionate Guandu

Our school fosters healthy communication and collaboration among parents, teachers and 11 volunteer groups. There are over 100 volunteers joining Guandu to work together. We combine knowledge, ability, manpower and material resources to support the school operations, curriculum and teaching.

Vitality Guandu

Our school actively promotes Education 111, develops the "One school, one characteristic" of Marine Education and School-developed curriculum. We also encourage students to develop "A lifelong skill ". Moreover, we have three major teams and six school sports teams. The student team is thriving with outstanding achievements.

The counseling team adopts WISER Model to strive towards the goal of “No Child Left behind” and brings every child up and make every child fly with hope.

Common Good Guandu

Guandu Elementary School is adjacent to Guandu Palace, Guandu Natural Park, Guandu Wharf and many colleges and universities. We have abundant natural resources and artistic, cultural and educational resources. Our school is committed to bringing in local resources to enrich students' learning. We cooperate with Taipei National University of the Arts to carry out Art and Medicine (Tao-Guan Amusement) project; cooperate with MKC (Mackay Junior College of Medicine, Nursing and Management) for National Defense Experiential Learning; cooperate with Tzu Chi ( Culture and Communication Foundation) a breakthrough experience course in Environmental Education; cooperate with Guandu Nature Park to implement the Ecological Afforestation Project of " Guandu Children Love Forest".

Century Guandu

Guandu was established in 1921, and we have been dedicated to education for a century. In 2021, it’s the 100th Anniversary of Guandu Elementary School. During the period, we made many brilliant records. Because of the promotion of Marine Education, our school won the honor of "Beauty of Taiwan's Educational Broadness". In the last three years, Guandu has passed the Education 111 certification and won the award for the integration of high-quality school resources, showing our outstanding school-running characteristics
